@tsarstepan,
Pictured are Rasputin, Tsarina Alexandra, Tsar Nicholas II, and Tsarevich Alexei, who had hemophilia. Because of Rasputin's dubious abilities to stop the bleeding attacks of Alexei, for one, he had great influence over Alexandra and Nicholas. Rasputin, a Mystic with great charisma, apparently used hypnosis, which may have had some effect in stopping Alexei's bleeding. Anastasia was a daughter who, in popular culture, had somehow escaped execution by the Bolsheviks.

I am aware of the historical context of said image. Just being cheeky.

((cough cough)) Tsarstepan [which could be read as Tsar Stepan] is my online moniker for a literal reason... ((cough cough))

@tsarstepan,
Yeah, I noticed your title of tsar. I figured that you did have some interest in Russian history. I don't have a lot of knowledge about Russia, but I've always been interested in the literature and music of Russia. I figured that any of these posts would have an audience of hundreds, or at least dozens, or more realistically two or three. There's bound to be a number of people who read these threads and never participate. One can hope anyway.

@tsarstepan,
You might have some interest in listening to this piece of music. This Is "God save the Tsar", which was the Imperial Russian national anthem up until the revolution. This video was performed in 2013 while under the regime of acting-Tsar Putin. The music itself is beautiful, and in my opinion one of the top two best national anthems. It's amusing to watch the audience, because some of them are standing and some of them are sitting. The ones that are standing apparently are considering this to be the current national anthem, as if to say this is the national anthem of the NeoRussian Empire with Putin as the new Tsar.
