Gopnik is, if I remember, part of the new yorker famiglia. I may remember wrongly on that. In any case, I don't know on him yet. Of course, he'd take me as a speck and be correct.

On foodie blogs, I did follow something like an edited hundred and fifty of them, which any one can do quickly as blogs reference blogs. But I had gotten in to honing down to the ones I liked and then had a computer crash (lesson, transport your links to elsewhere).

You're correct on guest author, Gopnik, columnist of The New Yorker magazine.

I'm correct about what? he writes in the new yorker a lot. But I don't remember the nyer progenitors, or spawn, and he may be one of them. Some new yorker progenitors have been fabulous, Wally Shawn, for example. (I may be misusing the word progenitors, but I like it).
