Does anyone use this service? I just recently signed up to see what it is all about. I kind of think it's just another way for people to obsess over those who are famous. But that is just me. Not that I am helping the matter any as upon signing up I started following some of my favorite people.

I have a twitter.com account. I allegedly follow 34 members (authors, tech gurus, various science and/or comic artists based intellectuals... no megacelebrities.

I use the phrase allegedly follow as I in theory follow them on my account but by average I visit the site once every 1 to 2 weeks so in practice follow maybe slightly erroneous overkill term.

i use it as a sort of glorified RSS feed, for things and people i'm interested in, there are few a2k'ers there, i like the new list feature, let's you consolidate your interests and see only the tweets from any particular list
