I remember a Christmas song that went something like this: Jesus why don't you come and take us all home for Christmas? Ride us through the sky on magic sleighs, we'll be the guests at your Birthday - why don't you come and take us home today?
I think Evie Tornquist sang it originally and I remember hearing it on the radio. Most likely in the early 70's. Let me know if you remember this song or any other details about it.

The same bits of song have been playing in my head.
Found it on youtube. Reba Rambo wrote and sang it. First found it with Cynthia Clawson singing. There are some really nice pictures of Jesus that scroll through as she sings.
