Totally idolized this guy when I first took up the drums. Still love watching his feet move in the "Pour Some Sugar On Me" video.

That's a great article. Thanks for posting it.

When I saw him in Albany in 2007 it was dark when the band walked on and when the lights went up he was already there standing in his 'spot' over to Bruce's right - but when they walked off after like three encores, it looked like he was walking really slowly down the ramp and I thought it looked like he was using a cane or a walking stick. I thought something was going on.

that's exactly what his solo on Jungleland gives me- along with wonder at his talent and the emotion he can coax out of his saxophone.
But I can't believe they didn't induct the E-street band either. That should be amended.

I think he lives in S Florida because back in the 90's he dropped in to play with some bands that I know in tiny venues. He was a humble guy. One would never imagine he played with the "Boss"
