A baseball is dropped from a stadium seat that is 75 feet above the ground.Its height s in feet after t seconds is given by s(t)=75-16tsquared.Estimate to the nearest tenth of a second how long it takes for the baseball to strike the ground.
@krystaldalfrey,
7 hours give or take a few minutes
@krystaldalfrey,
You are supposed to catch and keep a ball hit into the stands. Why would you want to drop it back onto the field?
The Yankees won the world series (dammit). I'd guess the ball hits the ground sometime in early April next. Hopefully in Cincinatti.

Solve 0 = 75 - 16 t^2 for t.
