A detailed summary of Monckton’s presentation will be available here once compiled. However, a segment of his remarks justify immediate publication. If credible, the concern Monckton speaks to may well prove the single most important issue facing the American nation, bigger than health care, bigger than cap and trade, and worth every citizen’s focused attention.

There is also a youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ll0cvUfcBw

Apparently Christopher Monckton who was the science advisor under Margaret Thatcher is claiming that there is a treaty that will effectively over-ride the Constitution and the United States will lose its sovreignty, if Obama chooses to sign. And he says he most certainly will.

At this point I find that I am having a hard time believing that the President would be able to do this. It seems there would be something that safeguarded this kind of thing from happening. I am in the process of researching this.

I searched all over A2K - if it is here I have not found it. I tend to be an alarmist at times...though I am learning that most of what people have to say is bunk. But I would love to see what you fine folk have to say about this.

Did you know that woodpeckers nest in infested, unhealthy trees? They tear into the trees until there is no more to be had and they move on.

@mismi,
No way that is going to happen. It's not being considered seriously by anybody.

@edgarblythe,
What would they call Texas if it becomes a separate entity. I come from ****-kicker country which is the 17th district. I think the children of pioneer families be given special consideration.

Kinky for King of Texas!!!!!!

@Tai Chi,
Tai Chi?

Are you making fun of me? ((Tai Chi))

Truly - it's okay. I do feel that I have been placed in this world at times just to make other people feel better about themselves. I am okay with that. Wink

Mis, you must be wracked with fear about Obama to even consider this as possible.

@ossobuco,
As you well know, I worry about him too. Still, the Constitution supercedes all other laws. Treaties are only second in priority.

Hey, anybody know why shotguns have to be plugged for three rounds when hunting crows, but not plugged when hunting quail?
