That is, 4 pigs. This is from Day 1 of the Calgary Stampede. It was fun - pig races, duck races, sheep shearing, hypnotic show, miniature horse show, Super Dog show... all free once you paid to get in. We went to Nashville North, a club on site, and when we came out the line up was unbelievable! Get your corn dogs here, come on down, corn doggies for the kids!

I went to the Calgary Stampede once, about 1969. I saw/listened to Ian and Sylvia Tyson, fantastic. I went there from Pueblo Colorado on my new Norton/Dunstall motorpsycho

Looks like fun Mame! However, if you PAID to get in then it's not exactly free! And you had to buy the corn dogs!

@dadpad,
There was a miniature horse chuckwagon race but we left before it started. You were interested in the line up? Why? Oh, you're kidding me, aren't ya, you big kidder, you... Ha - they were five rows deep and about a block long and it was only 5:20 p.m.! The doorman said it would be a 4 hour wait for the middle of the pack - geesh, I woulda gone somewhere else.

@Mame,
I think I've seen some rodeo thing involving pigs, but I was preoccupied at the time, drawing the people in the stands around me (back in the day when I cared about just drawing.) This was in Sisters, Oregon a long time ago. I'm a bit hesitant to check sites on all this. I'm not a peta person, but I'm also irritated by, say, Wegman.

I'm sort of afraid to check your pigs link, maybe tomorrow. Pigs are sensate.

It's a family rodeo, Osso... it was harmless, and they are pets, not just livestock, so it's okay.
