@dadpad,
are you drinking your sympathy 12 ounces at a shot?

Ah, this bowie knife would do the trick, if you were right here.

At first glance I thought you had a splinter in your balls. That would have elicited my sympathy.

Then I read on to see it's only your finger and that you require sympathy to attempt its removal. Man up Nancy!

@dadpad,
Oh, I've been there. Even had a thread on it, and chased around the web.

Alas, I forget what happened, except that it is gone.

(I have a bit of a goosefoot spine in my index finger as we speak.)

I also had similar, I suppose a thorn, grow into a granuloma years ago. The doctor rolled his eyes, and he was a friend.

But metal, I've never undergone a metal shard. I am supposing it will grow out if you don't push it inward.

My mother in law used to put ammonia on such things.

Not that I recommend that,

@dadpad,
I got them all the time, back when I was running a profile mill. Not hard to remove once they fester up. In fact, that was sometimes the only way to find them.

@dadpad,
Can you see it beneath the skin?

What colour is it?

Do you need someone to kiss it all better?
