A day after Obama called fired government watchdog Gerald Walpin 'confused'
and 'disoriented,' the ex-IG fired back, calling the explanation 'a total lie.'

The Wash. Post reports some very damning information about Walpin that would seem to support his immediate removal.

The firing was absolutely justified. However, there may be a problem relative to not following protocal for this.

I'm saying that it appears Obama broke the rules when he fired
the man and to cover his ass he and the press attacked the man.

@H2O MAN,
He was considered incompetent. He didn't get along with members of the board. He went off the deep end during a meeting. He insisted on working from home, which was unacceptable, because, he said, after many years he was tired of commuting. He failed to follow procedures.

I'll grant you Obama broke the thirty day rule for which he should be reprimanded

...but he didn't attack the guy...he just gave reasons for the firing.
