I'm not familiar with that particular phone but it sounds to me like you are using some default apps that aren't including this as an option or just aren't finding the option to do so.
Try using the actual file explorer to send it, or if that doesn't work you may want to look at using an app like Resco File Explorer or one of the many file exploring/transferring utilities that exist for the Windows Mobile platform.
