always follow the money to explain the actions of business and government, Having said that I have to join the ranks of those who think swift and merciless retribution and action is what's appropriate here.

Another solution would be to drop in the world stock of Starbucks' lemon cookies in Mogadishu by parachute so the country can eat for the next 20 years. They have no expiration date.

Cruise ships are a whole different kettle of fish; the passengers must be protected or nobody will cruise with them in the future.
