No, I haven't noticed. Can you give me the statistics so I'll be better informed to answer your questions? Exactly how many times did he use the word "hope?" and the word "dream?" And, what percentage is it of the total words used?

He probably used the words "the" and "and" ten times more than he used "hope" or "dream."

Could that also add any mysterious meaning?

It means he's disillusioned and is focussing his future on his hopes and dreams, or hope and dream, if he only has one. He feels he has no hope and no future, so he's exisistentially and futuristically juxtaposing his life.
