Hi. A friend gave me some music on a flash drive. I dragged it into iTunes, but unfortunately forgot to actually put it in the iTunes folder. I then deleted the music from the flash drive. Now I've lost all that music and can't play it off iTunes. Does anyone know how I could get it back? I downloaded a program called SmartUndelete, but it hasn't found anything!
@aperson,
SmartUndelete can find the the remnants of deleted files on your C drive, but not off of a flash drive. You never saved the music into a file -- I believe if you played the music after dragging it, I believe you have to configure your player to automatically put it the iTunes file. When you delete files in the recycle bin, the hard drive won't entirely dump them until you need the space.
@aperson,
I really like my Iomega outboard hard drive -- I have more space than I will ever need at a really reasonable price. The model I have is silver like my laptop and sits behind it like it belongs!
