Is it possible to make money as a Cha Cha Guide

It seems like this is all I read about any more.. Becoming a Cha Cha Guide. But it seems like they go to an awful lot of work for very minimal pay. I am curious if anyone out there is a Guide or has knowledge of how profitable this can be. I am looking to know if the money equals the time they put into answering questions.
