I am interested in gardening and wish to know how to grow Primulas.

I love gardening and prefer to grow various annuals and perennials in my garden. I have been successful with most of the plants except for primulas. Buying these plants from garden centers is expensive and I do not get the same satisfaction which I get from growing my plants from scratch. I have no idea how to grow these plants from seeds. Can anyone help me? Do primulas grow from seeds? I have no idea and was looking for tips to grow them myself.
