my spring forward is more like a totter and collapse but ... thanks for the reminder

(and don't forget to change the batteries on your smoke detectors)

@djjd62,
I just noticed

you've started an inadvertent haiku

~~~~
Don't forget to change,
you're clocks with or without hands,
socks with stripe-ed clocks.
@djjd62,
never adjusted the clock in our new car from DST - it'll be just right now - saved reading the manual (push A , set , push B ... or something like it) .
the old dial clocks were much more simple imo - electronic display - danged new fangled idea .
I like our clocks just fine, i see no reason to change them--and it would just be a needless expense.
Oh, forgive me. On first reading, I thought you only wanted to change the time once a year. Several interesting ideas came immediately to mind.
I'm at the eastern edge of my time zone so I like having the change. Without Daylight Time the sun would be up at 4:00 am in the summer and without shifting back to Standard Time it would still be dark at 8 am in the winter.
