my master used me as his spearhead in battles. I can run, I can fly. Iam also related to football. I made my breed famous.

The answer is a "War Pig"
Pigs were lit on fire and were used to kamikaze and frighten war elephants as an initial attack. Pigs run, pigs are said to fly in parody, and can be used as pigskin footballs. Pigs are famous among as for bacon and other scrps and uses.
