Not me. I'm my usual happy go-lucky optimistic self -so there.

And many of my workmates, and some of my closest friends.

I blame coincidence, or the economic meltdown and global warming.

Of COURSE the Witch is happy. She's probably sipping some potion that allows her to personally avoid all the commotion of planetary alignments. I can picture her now, sipping and rocking on her front porch as neighbors yell, cars crash and sirens whirr in the distance.

The Dear Bunny gets it. That's what I'm talking about. I didn't wake up in a negative mood, but have been bombarded with out of sorts types all day. After the umpteenth one I realized I was feeling a bit outta sorts myself and wondered why.

I figured there must be something going on in the universe for it to be so wide spread. Can't be the economy and all that, cause it just started in the last 24 hours. Everyone was fine yesterday. Perhaps I would even describe the mood as jovial until today.

TODAY is a whole different story, I tell ya.

I was going to blame the time of year -- I was just having a conversation with a teacher who said that the kids are always crabby and irritated and sniping at each other this time of year. They're cooped up and tired of winter and spring keeps teasing only to be followed by cold and dreariness. (The Drama quotient in sozlet's social life has recently been upped considerably, apparently that's universal right now.)

But that doesn't work for those upsidedowners. Hmm.

Maybe it's just general weariness with the season, ready for a change of pace? I think people get crabby here in August too and welcome the first cool breezes of September...

When times are tough, do their mortgages go right side up?

We had the crankiness yesterday but today seems to be better. Perhaps it's moving in a Southerly direction.

Just partly cranky here.

It shows signs of clearing in about 1/2 hour.

I just checked the moon and it's only a sliver so that's not it. I suspect the government is putting something in the air that's causing us all to go berserk!
