Ah, well, that's some whores of a different color. I never heard liturgical music or chant in the little parish church i attended, so all of my associations come from having heard recordings or live performances in a non-religious setting.
When it comes to various forms of art having or alleged to have had a religious inspiration, i take an attitude of not wanting to throw the baby out with the bath water.
