Have you typed 2012 into your search bar? There are thousands of doomsday and other assorted hits. It's the latest y2k panic.
Oh god something else now to panic about! Sigh.

The above link is being hyped up for the below link. And the below link is taking advantage of the superstitions around the above link.

No. Why in the world would I do that?
@Merry Andrew,
So you could get information on the 2012 olympics?
@edgarblythe,
I find it fortunate that I don't have to worry about my retirement savings turning to dust.

2012 is a pretty consistent topic on the "coast to coast am" radio program
the main host george noory thinks it's going to be a positive development, a ending of sorts, but the beginning of an enlightenment
others tell tales of doom and gloom
the problem with so much of coast coast is the wacko factor, the other problem is once in a while they get things right, they were reporting the disappearance of the honey bees almost 6 months before the mainstream media started talking about it
I will be putting in a double order for ShamWOW.
In British Columbia Canada it's 2010 that's the big whoop.......winter Olympics.
Not sure how it would fit into a doomsday scene, but no doubt some conspiracy theorist will conjure up something.
@Chumly,
you mean more doom than the imposing bankruptcy because of said olympics
@djjd62,
I guess that's pretty doomy!

Oh, yeah. Forgot about that. But in that case I'd probably type 'Olympics - 2012'. Otherwise you might get links for long-range weather forecasts. I'm just so glad that I never listen to talk radio. This thread is the first time I've heard that the year 2012 is of any special concern whatever. (Now I'm almost sorry I read the first post in the thread. Almost.)
