Congrats on this sort of post, Geroge. For far too long I get annoyed with those name-dropping threads. Seems too exclusive...perhaps done accidentally. People don't realize the effect of slighting it can have on those who aren't mentioned. Of course, it's a minor annoyance, but I like the direction of threads when they're more inclusive.

So, Ragman, you're truly my fave.

Newness is relative...only since 1998 on Abuzz and A2k since the beginning.

No, why do you ask?

The only new part is my objection to the namedropping, who's-your-fave type of thread.

I haven't made any lists either Intrepid, except for a few **** lists, and I agree with Ragman that such lists may be used to intentionally hurt somebody or may inadvertently hurt somebody should someone take them seriously.

So hat's off to George for this thread for all the rest of us. Sometimes all any of us really want is just to be invited to the party, and here we are.

(P.S. you are on my list. So are a whole bunch of other people but I would be too afraid of accidentally leaving somebody out by listing them here.)
