Is this a sign of middle age crisis?

I just bought over $100 (and that is with the $20 off) in skin care products and I am so excited. I love the products so much I think I'm going to get some more - I didn't get any body lotion, so I think I need that as well.

Is this a symptom of middle age crisis? Do I need to watch out for any other insane crap I will be doing?

@Linkat,
Over $100 and they probably fit into a lunch bag.

I did much the same thing for my wife last Christmas.
(Japanese Cherry Blossom at Bath and Body Works)
She loves them.
She feels great.
She smells great.

Don't sound insane to me.

@George,
Easily - origins in my case. Supposedly the serum is supposed to get rid of my fine lines in about 7 weeks - maybe it is just hopeful but I have noticed less near the corners of my eyes. And at $50 for an ounce a bargain. The lotion for my face also has made the skin very soft, I can't stop touching myself - it feels so much better.

Just imagine what will happen if I lather my body with their lotion?

@Linkat,
I think it's just a sign or winter and the environmental dryness ...providing, of course, that you live in a wintery or a drying climate.

Do watch out for loading up on expensive wines and gourmet chocolates, though.

@Linkat,
Linkat, the sad truth is that it cost about $ 2.00 to make these creams. The rest is mark-up, advertising and packaging.

@CalamityJane,
But my face feels awesome!

And there is some crap in it that I can't pronounce and in 7 weeks just think I will look 21 again!

oh honey.

I went through a stage where I just HAD to have every OPI nail color, and spent Sunday afternoon making sure my hand were "ready for my close up Mr. D'Mill."

3 years ago, I had headbands to match my every mood.

2 years ago, silky scarves were a necessary element of my life.

Right now it's bubble baths and oil.

Oh, and eyeliner. Got to do my eyeliner.

Rather than "middle age crisis" I preferred to think of it as self actualization.

To hide those fine lines and signs of aging, I use Spackle.

@chai2,
Nice! Yes, OPI has some fabulous colors! I used to have a standing appointment every 2 weeks with my manicurist. Unfortunately after having children my nails went to h*ll. I think they are now getting older (not bathing them so much and stuff, less hands in water) - I may have to start my every other week nail appointments again.

@Linkat,
Always dark chocolate, but not the cheap stuff...too waxy and has an off-taste! Cheap (red wine) can be pretty damned good.

@Ragman,
Never cheap on the chocolate, but yeah you can find good tasting, but cheap red wine.

Ritter is the best "cheap" chocolate you can find.

3-5 dollars a small block.

@shewolfnm,
OK so after spending 100+ and planning to return tomorrow to buy body lotion so I can enjoy touching my body too; I will go get some cheap red wine and expensive dark chocolate - any suggestions?
