The way they (re)write history these days, Bush will be forgotten, and once Obama has taken away all of our guns, nationalized our industries, rewritten the constitution, appointed 9 uber-liberal judges to the USSC, sold our defenses to the Chinese, built an abortion clinic in every white neighborhood, and reduced our ranks of millionaires by giving the money to the poor who will simply breed more poor people, he will be remembered as a "hero".

No thanks. Keep the "change".

Anyone notice that since this 'tard got elected, 9 out of 10 TV commercials feature black people? WTF? Worse yet, they're often acting like white people....

Nothing I could say in response could ever better illustrate your own idiocy.

I noticed that a while back. IMO it is no different than many of the models looking like Jackie Kennedy when JFK was in office. Speaking of JFK, some of the young folks probably don't realize that it was JFK who ruined the men's haberdashery business. He was photographed not wearing a hat, and the men stopped buying hats. If you don't know what I mean, check out the movies that were made in the years before JFK. Most men wore hats.

Personally, I think that ads featuring successful black people, living in family groups, is a very positive step.

@Phoenix32890,
I had a similar observation leading up to the election. I noticed that many black journalists were getting more screen time. I kind of hypothesized that it stemmed from a certain network insecurity. If we were going to be talking about many racial issues, the journalistic landscape needed to reflect it more.

Ultimately, it didn't result in any noticeable change in coverage. I do think however that the large increase of positive black imagery has been long overdue.

Kind of sad that it took a black president to do this. We could have don't' this at any time. But hell, I'm not complaining.

Yes, the above is very correct, and I never understood why he did not wear a hat? I assume there was a "message," since many men wore a hat with great pride as to the hat enhancing their respective image, based on the type of hat.

@Diest TKO,
I'm past marvelling at how stupid cj is.

Now I'm on to marvelling at people who insist on quoting his stupidity. I guess it's one way to make sure his message continues to be spread.

@Foofie,
This has now become the most interesting discussion on A2K.

I don't know why, but the topic of hats as a presidential accessory seems fascinating. Is this on par with old presidents and powder wigs or beards.

@ehBeth,
sorry ehBeth.

I usually just reply to, instead of quoting him. I didn't mean to spoil the ignore feature. My bad.

@ehBeth,
The truth hurts, doesn't it ehbeth?

What do you really expect a gun hating, pro abortion, constitution questioning socialist to DO for four years?

Let me know. That is, if you can have an original thought. Dismissing thought that is outside of your comfort zone is pretty STUPID, IMO.

Let's not get discouraged by some talking redneck doll who, when you pull the cord hanging from his neck says, "Socialist second ammendment black people scary!"

Instead let's stay on topic.

Send Bush to Gitmo for some old-fashioned waterboarding?

@cjhsa,
What is silly, I believe, is believing that the legacy of Bush might be based on popular opinion. [sound of loud buzzer] "Sorry, wrong answer. Thank you for playing Guess Bush's Legacy. Tune in in 100 years to see how wrong you were. Goodnight folks. And, remember to support our sponsors that brought you Guess The Legacy."
