Hey, Monger. Some preacher in the area where I taught got on his soap box about "The Grapes of Wrath", and wanted it removed from the reading list in the public schools--absolute proof that he had never read The Song of Solomon.

Genuinely weird I say. Next they'll nail Aida for having slaves in it, or Pagliacci for making fun of clowns... oh wait, we're supposed to make fun of clowns.
Yes, this then is the answer. Let's keep all the violence and sex in our entertainments, but simply require that the actors dress up in clown suits while they perform it.

Well, the only thing missing from "The Messiah" is explicit sex. I guess it's implied, however.
