Monkey gets minder

Zoo keepers have given an orphan monkey its own doggie minder to protect it from bullying by other animals.

"Whenever the baby monkey gets bullied, he dashes up and drives the others away. And the baby monkey is also very smart. Each time he smells danger he runs to the back of his dog bodyguard and hangs on tight," said a zoo spokesman.

"Since we sent Sai Hu in, the alpha male monkey has been very unhappy. He tried to organise several ambushes on the little monkey, but they all failed because of Sai Hu," said one keeper.

@Robert Gentel,
Interesting. And I figure complicated.. will baby monkey ever be accepted? Maybe, if alpha is somehow deposed.
Or not.

Reminds me of a post of mine about an hour ago about my business partner's dobie standing over Pacco in a pen full of about thirty dogs at a doggy day care, Pacc being between the male dobie's feet. The owner told us about that..

Pacc was not without his own aggression, but he was cowed in the circumstances.
