@Robert Gentel,
Smile

If cats could curse... I know exactly what she'd be saying.

I'm pretty sure someone already posted this one, but I like it enough to want to make sure:

This is definitely odd, the dog and duck are friends, and the duck dies of old age. The video shows the back story and the "reunion".

And here's a series of photos of a catfish who tried to swallow a basketball:

@Robert Gentel,
If the bird wasn't bad enough, how's a snake?

Quote:
A humpback whale freed by divers from a tangle of crab trap lines near the Farallon Islands nudged its rescuers and flapped around in what marine experts said was a rare and remarkable encounter.

"It felt to me like it was thanking us, knowing that it was free and that we had helped it," James Moskito, one of the rescue divers, said Tuesday. "It stopped about a foot away from me, pushed me around a little bit and had some fun."

<snip>

When the whale realized it was free, it began swimming around in circles, according to the rescuers. Moskito said it swam to each diver, nuzzled him and then swam to the next one.

"It seemed kind of affectionate, like a dog that's happy to see you,'' Moskito said. "I never felt threatened. It was an amazing, unbelievable experience."

Yes. And that was only before you started thinking about it.

This is very cool -- a orca chasing a penguin. The penguin escapes but I won't tell you how.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBwqbqZ3L60

@boomerang,
That was very cool! I wonder if the Orca's were just playing with the poor fella, maybe their form of sea-soccer or something. There were so many of them, surely they could have caught the penguin if they had wanted to.

Loved that the penguin got the better of them.
