I'm pushing the boundaries of this thread, but I have to share. A 13 year old in middle school is trying to find her niche, her identity. She is thinking about going Goth. She has pale skin and dark hair, so maybe that could work for her. Anyway, she had on baby pink flip flops with thick soles. On the edge of the sole she had written "Doth Rulez!!!" (snort). Not quite there yet.
