Who Sang "Time After Time?"

Long before Cyndi Lauper arrived, there was a standard called "Time After Time." I believe Chet Baker had a version. But it was also recorded in more of a pop vocal with chorus style, similar to Clarence Henry's "But I Do." At first I thought it was Clarence Henry, but apparently not. Does anyone know the artist?

@dogwalkman,
If you mean the jazz standard written by Sammy Cahn and Jule Styne:

@Robert Gentel,
Yes, this is the song, but none of the artists mentioned rings a bell. Thanks. I must be mistaken.
