Today is a nice mild morning, and as soon as I have breakfast, I'm off with my Chow Sebastian to walk the ocean's edge. Would you like to come along?

@littlek,
It sure is my dear, we have the mountains as a backdrop, and the ocean as the foreground and Sebastian as good company.

abalones grabbed my cousin
dragged him 'neath the waves

@edgarblythe,
Those must have been one badass pack of abalones, edgar!

Chumly - I have been there, I can totally see it. Though, I have to say, I have never walked along the shore in that area.

ah bologna.....abalone.....talkiing about snacks:

I have chunks of liver for the dog, that way I can keep him close enough without needing a leash. Notice the Canada Geese in V formation?

@Chumly,
Which way are the geese flying?

@littlek,
I've not noticed, silly as it sounds........... the inlet we are walking around does not lend itself well to direction, at least for me, as I tend to just accept such things as they are. Watches, compasses and the like are perhaps better left behind. That's pretty funny coming from a guy who loves gizmos, but a walk is a walk is a walk is.

There is no sun in the sky and everything is as green as a fresh dollar bill, some like to pick fiddle heads and mushrooms along the way.

@Chumly,
I was just wondering if they were flying South for the season already.

@littlek,
I guess they must be, it would be an odd feeling to get really antsy at the end of summer, get into groups and take to the sky.

@Chumly,
I get antsy at the end of summer. Too bad I can't fly.

Invite me next time. I would love to join you.
I am currently gutting my daughters room in preparation for painting.
A walk would be a wonderful break... but I cant do it just yet..

Or, ... you just come on over here and lets walk up Lamar Blvd. Lets chat about the odd characters on that street, stop for coffee and water, and walk back ? Smile

@littlek,
I saw and heard two Canada geese flying and honking last night. Seems a bit warm for them.

@roger,
In many of my walks, the dog and I encounter scads of them, eating green grass and pooping green poop. The dog will roll in it and I will step in it.

@Chumly,
Hey chum, the weather has been much more to my liking the past couple of weeks. None of this hot crap.

The next 4 days will be awesome! Laughing

I'd join you for a walk, but I'm bushed from work!
