Thank you. Well it's the right melody but the lyrics are different. Something about bringing a dog home and putting paper on the floor hence the "doot doo doo..." I've checked every parody on Google and can't find this particular one.

There was a whole album of versions called 'Tom's Album'

I thought i was the only other person that remembered that and it haunts me to this day that i can't find it

I bought a puppy at the pet store

I haven't heard the dogdoo parody but I heard one called Elves' Diner. FM99 in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia played it one Christmas. They are always doing screwball things like that. 😂 Anyway, I don't think they made it but I could be wrong. I can't find it ANYWHERE and googling it doesn't help. Anyone else heard this and know where to find it?
