Anyone read any of his books? I'm currently read The Sportswriter. I'm doing it backwards, I've already read Independence Day.
Please give your comments about his writing, content, whatever comes to mind.

I'm interested in his perspective-- relaxed and tense at the same time. In someways this seems to be a provenance of Sounhern white males? I dunno-- maybe I'm reading to much into it, but it just seems to me people adjust to life according to surface matters, such as how they look, their ethnic identity, etc.
