Odd Thomas is a book about a supposedly unusual guy who, "sees dead people". And this is an odd or usual concept how?
This idea has been milked for every bit of intrigue it was once worth by countless movies and TV shows. Odd Thomas is a joke for trying to use the most paradied movie quote of all time, "I see dead people", as a serious hook. I can't believe how big of a rip-off this book manages to be while still trying to take itself seriously.
Odd Thomas doesn't live an usual life, he lives a ripped-off one.
and you treated a dean koontz book seriously?
Don't you talk about my Odd that way!
Happy Birthday Dean Koontz!
Best wishes from me and all the labrador/retrievers that have ever existed.
