I need to write an argumentative essay on Ralph
I have to defend Ralph's actions as a leader. What were his motivations? Did he contribute to the tragedy in anyway? Could he have acted to prevent any of the deaths? what could he have done ? HELP how do i start ! I need a thesis statement
Is Ralph the one that wanted to kill Piggy? It's not Machiavellian - it's more primal why he was right - like Sulla in Rome - a military dictator kind of thing - blend it into Vespasian...

No... that was Jack, Ralph's rival.
hmmm, I see, thanks. The problem is worse than I'd thought, I'd call Ralph's leadership indefensibly naive and Chloe's teacher an unimaginative bible-thumper. Maybe tie into Jeremy Bentham's Happiness/Utility if you want to go through the motions...
