Am on dial up, and the moment I connect to the Internet, my Browser (Internet Explorer) pops up, even though I do not want it to.
Sometimes I only want to do emails when online and it is annoying that the moment I connect to the Internet, the ruddy browser pops up straight away uninvited. I tried looking in Internet Options and looked at the Advanced Settings, but cannot see where I can stop the browser from popping up.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
From IE, go to Tools, Internet Options, Connections, and select 'Never dial a connection' instead of whatever else is currently selected.
