Now I know that this is not the most vexing problem in the world, but it is bugging the crap out of me. I have had this bathsheet for years. It was, for a long long time, big and luxurious. When I get out of the shower, I love to wrap it around me. I use it all the time, wash it, and immediately put it back on the towel rack.
Over the years, the sheet has done its duty, and is starting to show its age. Yesterday I had to cut off a four inch piece of shredded edging off one side of the towel. I decided that I have to retire that towel, and get another one.
Now, did I say that this bathsheet is in pink? Years ago, all of my towels were pink. I like pink. Obviously, the people who are now outfitting their homes don't agree with me. Either that, or the manufacturers of towelling have become part of a conspiracy to rid the world of luxury level pink towels.
Now, there is a towel that I like, and it is on sale. The reason that I know that I like it, is that I once bought a PINK washcloth of that particular make on clearance, and it is one of the fluffiest, most durable piece of towelling that I have ever encountered.
But now I know why it was on clearance. THEY DON'T MAKE IT IN PINK ANY MORE! I can get it in a chocolate, slate, leather and all sorts of other fancy colors, but not even one shade of pink.
Now I realize that this is not a problem on the level of terrorism, or even the great conundrum of why an intelligent, educated, brilliant governor would spend a boatload of money on whores who look like skanks.
Yet this is a problem for me. Can anyone help? I am looking for a luxury level (Martha Stewart need not apply), large size (the bigger the better)
PINK bathsheet. Any ideas? Congac is just too damn sophisticated for my bathroom, which has these lovely pastel flowers all over the wallpaper.
Buy a white one... and a cheap red cotton T shirt.
You know what to do.
Might need a couple of those red shirts for a deep pink.

Add salt before the water drains.
I just bought 2 sets of pink towels for the friend I stayed with while doing my first aid. I bought them at Home Sense - do you have one of those near you? She loves pink and these were beautiful. Egyptian Cotton, I believe.
Mame- It looks like the stores are in Canada................and they don't sell online.
Pink and chocolate is the trendy wedding combo again this season - should be back in towels soon.
How about an accent towel for a bath sheet and a couple of face cloths?
Have you checked out TJ Maxx and Tarzheyyyy?
No sooner then I posted that, I saw that "there aint no steeekin pink"
and what kinda pink?
pepto-bismal pink? or some other kinda pink?
tarzheyyyyyyyyyyy
Bought myself, and my mum, new towels recently. My mum because she lives in farmer-land and prefers for me to do the shopping for these things if she can. She hates shopping, and if I do say so myself, I'm not bad at finding good quality stuff for a bargain.
She wanted "mauve" "light light purple" for her bathroom. Wasn't too hard to find.
I saw a lot of light baby pinks. Some brights. Lots of chocolates and off-whites! I want white white white - reminds me of being in a hotel as a kid and feeling sooo pampered because in our house, we didn't have white towels (too easy to get dirty!).
If all else fails, you have a lot of canuck friends to send you some.

Sweet Pea is the pale pink.

link to bath sheets at Amazon.com that have pink included as one of the colour options.
The range of pinks available is amaaaaazing.
Yeah, I'm curious about color specifics too.
I get the luxury vs. Martha Stewart/ Target distinction though.
I checked Overstock.com, seems promising:

Would the "orchid" work?

peony
Amazon or Target work.
I'd still recommend checking out a TJ Maxx if you've got one nearby - you'll get Target prices, but much better quality.
This one's called "pink", helpfully enough, but seems a bit light (might just be the photo):

(Originally $120 for the set! Now $50. What's your price range?)
Here's a "real" pink:
Oooh, not in stock now though:
