Hey, Boss, there was another thread not long ago about whether or not this constitutes a part of real life, as in IRL, as opposed to on-line.

Blind people and deaf people interact with other people all the time, lacking what we consider an essential sensory ability. Interacting on-line is, in my opinion, no different in substance than is such an interaction "IRL." Feelings can get hurt, and harm can be done.
