I got a call last night from my brother. I never get to see my brother. The last time I saw him was when I drove to Seattle to meet him for a 7 hour layover he had going from here to there.
So he calls last night and asks "What are you doing this Friday?"
And I reply "I'm flying to Texas for a wedding. What are you doing this Friday?"
And he replies "I'm flying to Portland to give a talk."
<sigh>
I rarely go anywhere.
He goes everywhere but here. He's never been here.
I'm totally bummed.
I really love my brother and I can't believe I won't get to see him.
<sigh>
So.
What are you doing this Friday?
Meeting with a creditor and his solicitor. All I can see is any money the creditor has going into the solicitors pocket.
I've advised the creditor things would be a lot easier to sort out if he uses a free community financial advisor. but he wont.
Its only 3.5 thousand but still....
The wedding is in Houston but we're staying in Galveston.
I was going to try to arrange some meet ups but we've got shitloads of family showing up and it would be.... strange.
I'll probably be in Austin sometime this summer though!
Oh. Knock wood that I don't have a dadpad kind of day..... ever!
I'll be going to Manprov at 11pm.

I'm heading out to Smithers at 6:00 a.m. to cook for a 12 man camp for about 5 weeks. Yahoo! Should be fun
8 am dog walk
9 am Breakfast with hubby/housekeeping
10-12 Computer work/business phone calls
12-1 Lunch with hubby
1 pm dog walk
2-4 Grocery shopping and library
5pm dog walk
6pm Dinner with local friends
9pm Flip around all 8 TV channels two or three times to prove to myself there is nothing worth watching. Maybe our Netflix will arrive in time.
9:15-11 Possible computer time or reading in bed.

I have a brother who is a commercial airline pilot. He calls the night before he has an overnight layover. What does your brother do?
Hoping the weather will cooperate and we can go to Madison, WI to do some shopping.
Oh, sorry. That would be on Saturday. Friday is work. Crap!
What an interesting, and sometimes mundane list of Friday activites. My Fridays are usually filled with Mo's gang of tiny, merry, thugs. They'll have to rule someone else's house tomorrow.
My brother is a General in the Army, marty, so he travels all over the world. His current job is keeping him mostly in the states though so I'm looking forward to some trips he has planned to Ft. Lewis since it isn't far from here!

Ah well all paid out by tax time in June.
I think I'll just take a nice hot bath, do my hair, then put on my big bunny slippers and do my nails. Maybe with a glass of wine...
