The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is proposing to amend the Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR). The FTC's proposal includes creating a national 'do not call' registry. Under the FTC's proposal, it would be illegal for telemarketers to call consumers who place their phone number on the national registry. This site presents details of the proposal along with tips on 'How to Reduce Unwanted Telemarketing Calls Now.'
