Many people can't find their parked vehicles
According to research conducted in the United Kingdom for the General Motors Chevrolet brand, many motorists have difficulty remembering where they have parked their vehicle. One out of five motorists polled say they "lose their cars" at least once every two weeks. On average, the forgetful drivers spend more than five hours annually trying to retrieve a lost vehicle. A new device from Chevrolet - called the KITTY (Key Innovation That Talks to You) - can help people find their cars. The device links to a vehicle, enabling the "misplaced" car to shout a personalized message to its owner. The remote-activation device has a range of about 600 feet. (www.newcarnet.co.uk)
