I've got both--and they are probably permanent guests.

I've got both as well. The crepe is newer, so it's winning as most distressing for now.

Mac--

Familiarity breeds acceptance?

So what's up with the dozens of people who've viewed this thread without posting? Do you have no crepe and/or cellulite? Or just afraid to admit it?

Perhaps they hope for enlightenment?

I Googled without infinite time and found images of pancakes and mourning clothes and crepe-high-style-fabric. Crepe bandage pictures wouldn't blow up.

Crepe-creepy skin was delicately referred to by a number of cosmetic companies, but they didn't show "Before" pictures.

These baby blankets give a suggestion of crepe skin, but only a suggestion.

Think of ribbons of flapping celulite and turkey wattles.

Osso--

I'm not sure. After all sweet young things are eligible for cellulite, but we've worked for our crepe.

Jes--

Crepe is eternal. I'm aiming for more wire than flab, but....

I've never had cellulite (isn't it somewhat genetic?), but I'm sure crepe will get me in time. I've decided to be one of those eccentric old crones who accepts her decrepitude with style and wit. I'm going to live in a little crooked shack covered by a big overgrown garden. Young girls will come to me to buy herbal love potions and charms made from little river rocks. I will go barefoot in summer and I will wear sleeveless dress with low cut necklines that show off my tissue paper skin with blue veins underneath. My hair will be a big white pouff like an elderly dandelion. I will fear no judgment.

what's that?

decrepitude:
(dĭ-krĕp'ĭ-tūd', -tyūd') pronunciation
n.The quality or condition of being weakened, worn out, impaired, or broken down by old age, illness, or hard use.

( I like the "hard use" part)

I've never heard of crepe before, noddy.

I've some cellulite in my thighs. There's a way to get rid of it with a rebounder. It works but it takes a bunch of bouncing and arm swinging along with some goofy dietary supplements. It's described in a book called Fat Flush Plan

JPB, you've probably seen it, but not on yourself. It's one reason older women often prefer longer sleeves. (But lonely are the brave....)

Lol!!! I am sure I have cellulite, but no crepe yet.

That picture suggests it can be "treated"? Can it, or is that bullshit????

Well, you can fill it out, to some extent, by gaining weight...

Ah, or you can get crepey skin by losing weight!

I've been researching various plastic surgery options, but the cure sounds much worse than the problem to me.
