Since you guys don't drive on the correct side of the road you don't know that this is the way it is done.
Actually, I'm trying to remember... I think it's right, left, right 'cause before proceeding you need to check your right again since that is going to be the closest side you are passing through the intersection.
Anyway, I hate when I have something in my teeth, on my shirt front, or a button undone etc and no one tells me.

Hmmm, no, I don't think so.
I think it stems from when people were kids and told to do that when walking and crossing roads. It's so ingrained.
The stupid part about it is that the "left side" will hit you long before the "right side" will.
In my area, there wouldn't be that many Brits either.

.... you buy something, and the label doesn't come off cleanly. There's always some residue. We have found a product here called "Goop Off" that works reasonably well.

... when I buy a new DVD. The packaging and security strips make it tough, and then they change the way the case opens, the disk is so hard to pry out you're in danger of ruining it ...
