Never picked apple, but peach, pear, strawberries, tomatoes, hops, and grapes. Didn't know what hops were used for a very long time. Didn't drink beer until I enlisted into the USAF. I have to blame my friend, Gerald Kingery, for my addiction to beer. He used to take me to the beer hall, and buy me a beer, and will tell me to just take a few sips. During my transfer to Morocco, I had a layover in New Jersey, and some of us spent the day at Coney Island drinking beer with some other airmen. I got so sick, I swore never to drink again. Long story short, I still love beer.
