Hi Bunny
You can't get them into trouble, really. But no sooner do they block access to one proxy than globalpandora will move it to another. My understanding is that the blocking is in response to some pending court case or legislation, rather than actual law.
Nonetheless I think we could argue under the Free Trade Agreement Oz has with the US this is OK (we had to change our IP laws to sign the agreement). And besides the whole digital rights thing is moving so fast away from locking up it will probably be accessible within the not too distant future.
But for the time being try downloading this cute little tool:
http://www.cfdan.com/posts/Pandoras_Box_-_The_Apostrophe_Version_.cfm
Built by and Irish guy it accesses pandora without a browser. Rather neat.
To me the real value in Pandora was the way they classify and link music (although I think focusing the musical facets rather than the emotional ones is a little disappointing it's still a damn good tool for finding/hearing stuff you've missed) - not in the fact that you hear music for free.
If you don't want to install Dan's gadget have a look at
http://last.fm/ for an enormous streaming music library (which I believe amazon have just bought (beating out apple in the bidding war)).
Lord I can waffle.
