prolly a good thing I moved the cars for this round.

lost a 30 foot chunk outta a 50 foot maple near my parking spot.

(woulda been the truck)

it's not in my way after I dragged it off the back 40 road. I'll cut it up later.

I'm tard...

got my gourds all in along the back fence between storms, too.

poppies and morning glories is all I got left to do...

sun's out now, and all the birds are feasting...

@Rockhead,
Hope it continues to be relatively minor damage. This afternoon's radar looked like your area was really taking a beating.

@ehBeth,
doug and the slugs was very on target.

I'm verra sluggish today.

not sure if I wanna pull the bonneville outta the shop or not. I think we're gonna miss the excitement today...

@Rockhead,
Chilliwack's a great choice.

Listened to Bill Henderson's playlist on Inside the Music last night.

You can follow it here

http://music.cbc.ca/#/Inside-the-Music/blogs/2013/5/Sex-and-Chilliwack-Bill-Hendersons-My-Playlist

there's a link to the whole show as well as the individual songs there

I gotta get off memory lane (and my ass) and go do something.

stinky is right under me to suggest I start with filling the kibble bowl...

@vonny,
I separated my spider lilies and bogged them, and planted morning glories in the hollow tree stumps and sprinkled near bubba and my salvia garden.

sprinkled alyssum around the kidney pond rocks.

moved the rubbertree plant out into the center area of the three ponds, and cleaned out for my surviving ferns.

the pond garden is finally growing up into a pretty and substantial place...

mr vw's kid is gonna stop in on his way home from work (Halstead) for a pair of special size 16" tires I was saving back for the bonneville.

he needs 'em worser than I do...

another hard day of work, mostly in the pond garden.

built a little wooden bridge, and redid my leakiest bog into a cattle mineral tub.

awesome...

I think Ima fire up the grill and roast some weenies.

got a craving.

I'll thaw some GF bread so I got somethin' to sop up the mustard ketchup and relish with...

(Ima feel real stupid if I gotta move in two months...)

@Rockhead,
Move? That would be an awful shame when you've put so much work into it! Hope it doesn't happen. Sounds as if you're getting the place into good shape.

How bad did the weather get near you? Not sure exactly where you are located. We had some terrible news footage of the Oklahoma tornado damage on television this morning. Terrifying that so much harm could be done in such a short time - and so many lives lost. So sad.

@vonny,
Stinky and I are a bit over 2 hours drive north from yesterday's tornado.

I used to deliver cars to a big dealership in Moore...

our weather the day before pales next to that.

the sirens went off and we got a big dose of hail.

I lost one whole tree (dead walnut) and parts of two others (live trees), but no property damage other than some iris.

several of my friends are down there today working. my thoughts are with everyone there...
