decided to go ahead and tighten up all the intake nuts, especially the three bottom ones.

I may not be as limber in the morning as I am tonight after taking my superman pill...

need two batry cable ends and a bolt from the parts house tomorrow, and then I can be done with this one and start in on the ford truck exhaust.

it has to run out monday morning, I have a windshield appointment for it at 1 pm at the ghost salvage...

What's been wrong with Dink? Bless him, he looks so loved and loving in the photo I saw. Hope he's fit and well very soon. Give him a lot of head strokes and hugs from me!

I'm not sure (I'm a car doctor) but he is eating better, and moving from bed to front room sunbeam and back on his own now.

was gonna bite the bullet and go see my vet, but I think we're ok without.

I'm keeping a good eye one him...

I decided to drop in and hang out at a buddy of mine's jernt the other day. (the same one that is my first camera system install)

he's an interesting cat.

used to be a kid with no money hanging around the speed shop back in my other lifetime.

artist kinda kid.

all growed up now, with his own niche in the custom car world.



makes coolio shifter knobs that are sold at car shows all over the country. (I surprised him in KC when he was making a public appearance. he hadn't seen me in 10 years, but one of his dealers was a good friend of mine, helped me ambush him) I was the traveling HP transmission guru from Chicago at the time.

I think he and I are gonna trade out some labor on a coupla projects. (he paints, I weld)

and I've been invited to hang out at his place as a celebrity guru. we're gonna do a motor teardown and old skool measuring on his 63 pontiac motor some time this month. with my new antique gauge kit.

and with an audience, it seems.

apparently all of his homies have heard stories about me from way back...

the escort has left the farm.

I had to spot her a coupla gallons o' fuel. I picked it off the street on E....

and I won't get paid until tomorrow, she's a stagehand, too.



now Ima get a late start on the Ford truck...

cancelled my windshield until Wednesday.

almost done with fabricating the exhaust pieces. I'll bolt them in tomorrow.

gonna take some canned food out to the shop with me as I go back.
