This is the best news I've heard all year. You do plan on having a party to celebrate when all the Ts are dotted and the Is are crossed, right? If not in person, at the very least a virtual party here on A2K.
Barney? What happened? I must have missed something.
Ah, never mind, I went back and found it. Poor Barney.

@Butrflynet,
the last hurdle is the toughest. with lotsa zeros on the back end of it. but my power is no longer an issue as I finsh the vert and dive into the '63 floors and chassis work...
and my security businees is picking up nicely.
the stage work will be slow till fall...
I hurt pretty good tonight. gonna have some wine and olives and crash soon.
saw the craziest OJesque police chase whule we riggers were chatting in the stagehands lot (the furthest one from the arena, BTW)
heard a series of 5 or 6 gunshots, and sirens, then a little SLOW silver car came squealing around the corner, followed by half of the city's patrol cars...
hafta check the paper online tomorrow and see if they shot him at the end.
so glad I live out in the boonies with cats and chickens and no loons...
I would trade some of my excitement and drama for some stability and peace...
I am attempting to buy the 5 acre farm I live on from Smoky's estate.
after my soaky bath and oatmeal, Ima go bury Barney the rooster and then dive back into getting the shop built. I've been collecting discount / used light fixtures from anywhere I can source them. time to put on my electrician's hat and start wiring everything into the box...
The grass is always greener ......... well, it still sounds fascinating to me. As for the 5 acre farm - big sigh here! Would LOVE to have 1 acre, never mind 5. Perhaps in another life!!! And you can do electrics? Another big sigh - we've just paid an arm and a leg to have our little house rewired - what a job!

@izzythepush,
Yeah - always the feeling that this time you might not get back! The sea certainly covers it rapidly once the tide turns.

One of my top favourites of all time - corny, but oh I like!!!
Olly Murs - saw him on the talent show over here that first brought his 'cheeky Cockney chappie' personality to the public. Very likeable and reminiscent of Joe Brown.
He's another senior citizen - hey, don't knock them - Stones, Beatles, and so on ..... pensioners rule okay!!!
