I gotta go put the world's oldest caravan back together (don't ask...) and get cleaned up to go chef.

gonna cook beef for folks what eat it.

and whatever else gets brought to the grill...

I'm making 2 cowboy grillers* for me and mr vw (the host) and gonna try and get there earlyish (not my best skill) to help set things up.

It's great guppy harvest time again.

I just found something google doesnt know. its a poem form my childhood that starts...
A bullant sat on a wallabies tail
Budgeie budgerie bidgie
then something about the bullant biting the wallaby.

I'd be interested to know where the original stock for the wallaby breeding came from. DONT TELL ME... AUSTRALIA!
Mostly its illegal to export Australian wildlife.

@dadpad,
I thought you knew wallabies were from Australia...

(i'll have to ask, ima go over and check it out soon. big sheet metal building right in a neighborhood at the edge of town.)

anyways...

I been out to the farm contemplating building a place to live out back by the pasture. it can work. plumbing will be problematic.

tired of struggling every month just to stay here...

Kangaroos and wallabies once roamed Australia practically undisturbed by predators, although no doubt the Tasmanian tiger and other carnivorous marsupials were a threat to their safety. The arrival of Aboriginal people, between 40,000 and 60,000 years ago, had an impact on kangaroos and wallabies, through hunting and through frequent burning of habitat vegetation. The dingo, which arrived about 3,500 years ago, became a major kangaroo predator.

more on the wallabies from mr vw:

apparently the guy is some kinda exotic animal breeder that used to run big fancy parrots. knows folks that deal in wild weirdness.

more when I can get over and meet the critters...

got the final hurdle cleared to start building at the farm.

now I gotta decide what to do...

Take some carrots if you have some spare.
I have heard of some English manor houses that have wallabies grazing on their lawns for asthetic purposes.

All together now
