tarred.

mowed the ranch in the dark.

there is a reason you don't do this. I will tell you how serious the damage is in the morning when I can see it... Rolling Eyes

got the sand rail all wired up so it runs and does what it's s'posed to. we'll see how nice he wants to make it ($$$) tomorrow.

need to grab bubba and crash soon...

home.

long friday...

beetle bug ragtop is on the trailer behind my truck (it towed without incident this trip...)

had dinner with mr vw at Connie's. (monterrey special) it was superb.

and I stopped at wally's for some fresh fruit and milk on the way home with the bug.

I can vouch that slugbug is NOT dead. there were a number of sore shoulders created as I rolled to a parking place. humorous it was...

I'm trying to remember the name of a writer of pop songs from the '60s. He was short and plump. He co-starred in a mystery series with . . . you guessed it . . . a tall and plump actor. Never saw the show but the tall guy called the short guy, "bitty buddy," according to a review I read at the time.

I can not remember his name nor any songs he wrote.

@plainoldme,
I only participated in the 60's for a few years, and graduated writing my own name and not using training wheels...

@dadpad,
how's your no driving kid?

I'm wiped. finished the floors in the trailer, and ran smoky into town to wally's and the smoke shop for his special "grape" ceegars...

making dinner now.

my new nebbors came over earlier and wanted me to fix their mower.

I took him over and introduced him and his junk to Al the mower guy.

then I loaned him mine so he could mow...

his kid just brought it back a bit ago.

he says...

your mower sure is heavy to push. (sweat, grunt)

I showed him where the self-propel lever is for next time...

@Rockhead,
Thanks, Barry and Rockhead, for posting these. I had always like the songs Willin and Dixie Chicken but I somehow missed Little Feat as the group that performed them and Lowell George as the writer of those great songs.
