"it" is a heat exchanger box off of a 76 vw micro-bus.
we gave up on the original (rusted too badly) and rebuilt a donor instead.
not particularly photo worthy.
but a reproduction replacement is over $500 at my cost. so I will enjoy getting paid for my time and creative reconstruction ability.
hadda cuppa.
